Several contractors are currently hiring licensed journeymen for new projects in the area, including 5 openings with EMPLOYERS ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORS, 3 with SANDERS & MALSIN ELECTRIC, 5 with SOUTHWEST ELECTRIC COMPANY, and 7 with WESTERN ELECTRIC. The work schedule is 5 days per week, 8 hours per day. A $500 sign-on bonus is being offered for successful referrals. The current journeyman pay scale is $40.30 per hour.
