🗺️
The Map — Find Job Calls Near You
Live job calls from 300 IBEW locals, plotted on a map.
›
1
Go to the Map
Click 🗺️ Map in the top nav. You'll see pins across the country — each one is a local with active job calls.
2
Click any pin
A popup shows the local's number, city, number of open calls, and current book status. Click View Local to see the full details.
3
Use the filters
Filter by state, number of calls, or work outlook to narrow down where to travel. Pins update automatically every 30 minutes as GoHereBro scrapes the halls.
4
Search for a specific local
Use the search bar to jump straight to a local by number, city, or state — no hunting around the map required.
Heads up: Data comes directly from each hall's dispatch page and is refreshed every 30 minutes. Always call the hall before making a move — GoHereBro is a scouting tool, not a guarantee.
★ Founder perk: Founders get notified the instant a watched local posts a new call — no more refreshing the map. Set it up once and let GoHereBro watch for you.

Local Pages — Scale, Books & Outlook Explained
Everything you need to decide if a local is worth the trip.
›
1
Open a local's page
Click any pin on the map and tap View Local, or search for a local directly. You land on a full detail page.
2
Read the scale
The scale is the journeyman wage rate for that local — shown per hour. GoHereBro pulls this from where2bro.com and refreshes it daily.
3
Check the book numbers
Book 1 is the out-of-work list for members of that local. Book 2 is the traveler list — that's you. Lower numbers mean you'd be called sooner. Zero means the book is empty or closed.
4
Read the work outlook
The outlook is a short description from where2bro — it gives you a gut-check on how busy the hall is: "Excellent", "Good", "Slow", etc.
5
See the open job calls
Scroll down to see every active job call GoHereBro scraped — contractor, number of positions, classification, and any requirements listed.
Pro tip: High scale + low Book 2 + good outlook = worth a call to the hall. Use these three data points together, not individually.
★ Founder perk: Founders can Watch any local and get real-time alerts the moment its book numbers, scale, or outlook changes — so you know before anyone else does.

Hot Spots — See Where Work Is Clustering
A heatmap of where calls are concentrated right now.
›
1
Go to Hot Spots
Click 🔥 Hot Spots in the nav. You'll see a heatmap overlaid on the country — brighter areas have more active calls right now.
2
Use it to plan your corridor
Before you decide where to travel, check Hot Spots first. If a whole region is lit up, there's likely steady work there — not just one fluke call at one hall.
3
See the ranked list
Below the map, locals are ranked by total active calls. Quickly scan for the busiest halls in any region without clicking individual pins.
Best use: Hot Spots is a strategic view. Use it for deciding where to go. Then drill into individual locals on the Map to decide which hall to call.
★ Founder perk: Founders get a personal Dashboard — a live feed showing every change across all their watched locals in one place, updated in real time.

Forum — Real Intel From Real Travelers
Ask questions, share intel, and connect with other IBEW travelers.
›
1
Browse before you post
Go to 💬 Forum. Use the search to see if your question has already been answered — a lot of locals have existing threads with real traveler reports.
2
Ask about a specific hall
Post in the relevant category: what's the BA like, what are the motels nearby, are they taking Book 2, what's the job situation. Other travelers will know.
3
Build rep by helping others
Reply to threads where you have first-hand knowledge. Your rep score goes up when people upvote your posts — it's how the community recognizes solid contributors.
Culture note: The forum runs on traveler-to-traveler trust. Share what you actually know. Speculation without experience isn't as helpful as "I was there last spring and..."
★ Founder perk: Founders get access to the AI Brain — ask it anything about scales, book numbers, locals, or travel strategy and get a data-backed answer instantly, 24/7.
