Georgia licensing, in traveler terms

The Georgia Board of Electrical Contractors licenses statewide Class I and Class II electrical contractors. Rule 121-3-.01 is the contractor rule: age 21, four years of documented experience, a 70 percent exam, and board fees. Georgia's plumber rules in the same chapter create a journeyman plumber license. The electrical chapter does not create a statewide journeyman electrician license.

4. Switch: Cartersville. I-75 traffic from the southside will eat the check.
5. Plant Yates: Newnan. Hire-in days on several postings are Tuesday and Thursday.
6. Extend only after orientation, badge, and the real start time are known.

Parking is not a given. Miller's 79-man QTS call said offsite parking. Vulcan's Marietta fit-out buses from an offsite lot. Ask at referral.
